SL3070 - Dry Bush Bean Brown Dutch (Code: SL3070)

A Dutch bean with an unrivalled flavour, which is used unshelled, both fresh and dried. The beans remain firm after cooking. It is a bush bean, so support is not necessary. Beans thrive in the warmth. Too much wind and particularly night frost can be very harmful. Sow after mid May in the garden. Row distance approx. 40 cm with a bean every 10 cm. Allow the harvested pods to dry on the field, then later unshell. The pods are not edible.
